Peter Carr owner of the Retro Workshop gave a very informative talk about his work to the Waterside Network Group on Thursday morning.

Retro Workshop is a local business on the Waterside area based in Hythe and is owned by Peter Carr whose passion is electronics and his love of old radios and other items.

Peter can restore anything electronic from the 1930s to 1980s although if you have something modern that is semimetal that you want restored then Peter may also be able to assist. Some on the items that have been restored in the Retro Workshop are vintage gramophones, record players, speakers, radios and televisions. Not only can Peter restore the electronics he can also restore the cabinets.

Peter also runs courses in electronics of retro radios, televisions etc. The courses are designed around students having knowledge of electronics but would like to restore a vintage piece of electronics equipment themselves.
